We’re a close-knit family who love welcoming guests into our home. Our ranch is a peaceful, thoughtfully designed place where hospitality means feeling like family whether you stay a couple nights or a week. We can’t wait to share it with you.

A winding 20-minute drive through pine and fir lifts you from vineyards and beaches to a quiet ranch beside the legendary Kettle Valley trestles. Close to Kelowna’s markets, patios, and wineries yet worlds away, you’re at the gates of Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park, with Okanagan Lake below and serene, glass-and-wood suites offering private decks and far-reaching views.
You won’t be alone here. Goats may greet you, dogs will supervise, chickens roam, horses watch from the pasture, and if you’re lucky, the brown tabby cat may appear on her own terms. This is a working ranch, with animals, daily rhythms, and the Kurz family living on-site. Their hospitality is a way of life, and the animals are part of what makes this feel less like a rental and more like coming home to somewhere new.

Every suite at the ranch shares the same bones: warm wood, white walls, and windows that let the valley in. No televisions to distract you (Deer Suite excempted). No city hum to drown out. Just morning light on the mountains, evening sun on the lake, and the kind of stillness that only comes 900 meters above it all.

The entire ranch, booked exclusively for your group — every room, every deck, and the kind of space that only makes sense when you’re celebrating something worth it. For a full overview, visit the individual room pages.

Second-floor elegance with a king bed, kitchenette, and a valley-facing soaking tub—perfect for slow mornings, wine, and sunset views.

Your Woodland Walk-out. Step directly into the fresh air. Our premier walk-out level accommodation.

A second-story sanctuary offering a tranquil escape with an elevated perspective of the surrounding landscape.

A main-level suite with a full kitchen and wraparound decks, perfect for families or groups to gather and enjoy ridge-top sunsets.

Ten minutes away, the Kettle Valley Rail Trail crosses Myra Canyon on 18 historic trestles, wrapped by Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park. Hike, ride, or bike the Crawford Trails, or linger on the deck as the valley turns gold. Kelowna—beaches, wineries, markets—is 20 minutes downhill. Up here: sky-high trestles, grazing horses, and a quiet, valley-facing view.
From peaceful mornings to unforgettable adventures, our guests say it best. Here’s what they loved about their stay.
Twenty minutes up the mountain, the horses are grazing, the valley is stretching wide, and your suite overlooks a view that goes on farther than your to-do list ever will.
The noise can wait. The ranch can’t.
Here are a few helpful things to know to make your stay easy and enjoyable.
We are a scenic 20 minute drive from downtown Kelowna. The road is well maintained but climbs to 900 meters elevation. 4×4 or AWD recommended from November to April. We will send detailed directions when you book.
Yes — we love welcoming families to the ranch. We offer two suites that work beautifully for families. For those with very young children, we recommend booking the Deer Suite, which features standard, floor-level sleeping without the need for lofts or ladders.
The Bear Suite also accommodates families; however, access to the loft bed requires climbing a ladder. For safety and comfort, we recommend this suite for children ages 6 and up who are confident climbing independently.
If you’re unsure which suite is the best fit for your family, we’re always happy to help guide you.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate guest dogs due to our ranch animals (goats, chickens, horses). We appreciate your understanding!
Call ahead for reservations and to confirm opening dates, as several are seasonal.
Delivery services available at the ranch include Instacart and Lani’s Kitchen (laniskitchen.ca) for delicious, nutritious oven ready meals: as well as soups, salads and baked goods.
Yes! We have high-speed fiber optic WiFi throughout the lodge. Cell service is reliable for most carriers. You can unplug if you want to, but you are not forced to.
One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
Peaceful, quiet, and restorative. This is a place to unplug and breathe, not a party spot. We keep things calm after 10 PM so all guests can enjoy the serenity. Perfect for couples, families, and anyone craving real quiet.
Drop off your laundry on the way to the beach and pick up clean folded laundry on your way back to the ranch.
Wholesome, home cooked meals made for you. Order in advance of your stay and meals can be ready for you in your suite or kept in the garage deep freeze. https://www.laniskitchen.ca/
Allergy Notice: As a working ranch, animals are part of everyday life here. While we thoroughly clean each suite and do our very best to remove pet hair and dander, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
If you have significant allergies to animals, pet hair, dust, or other environmental allergens, our ranch stay may not be the best fit for you. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to reach out with any questions prior to booking.
